Cologne Authorities Could Have Prevented New Year’s Eve Sexual Assaults on Women [Amren]

The mass sexual assaults on women in Cologne on New Year’s Eve 2016 could have been prevented if not for a handful of “mistakes” by the city’s authorities in the lead-up to the incidents, according to a draft report revealed by German media.

Cologne’s Express newspaper says it obtained a draft for the final report of the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) parliament’s examination committee on the events of New Year’s Eve 2016, when asylum-seekers sexually harassed 1,231 local women during festivities.

“The 2015/2016 New Year’s Eve attacks could have been prevented, to a large extent, if early and decisive action had been taken upon the first reports of criminal offenses. The overview and the necessary forces were lacking for such a procedure,” the report allegedly states. The report also accuses Cologne authorities of failing to adequately take into account the experiences of previous years in their operational planning, particularly the decision to reduce the requested police numbers throughout the state. The draft report describes this as a “gross error” that led to “disastrous consequences. ” [...]

The report is also said to reference an expert opinion concluding that the failure of timely police action in the events caused a “snowball effect” once the assailants noticed inaction toward their actions on the part of the authorities.

“When the groups of perpetrators in Cologne realized that the police did not intervene, a snowball effect arose with the number of [cases of] sexual violence rapidly growing. The perception that the first criminal offenses remained without consequences gradually encouraged more and more persons… to do the same.

Rotherham dads were arrested after tracking down abusers

Two fathers whose daughters were victims of child sex exploitation tracked down their abusers – only to be arrested by police themselves. The dads had attempted to remove their daughters from houses where abuse was taking place, but they were the ones who were then arrested by police. Prof Jay’s inquiry said police often treated victims with ‘contempt’, frequently arresting them while taking no action against those committing offences. Her report said: “In two of the cases, fathers tracked down their daughters and tried to remove them from houses where they were being abused, only to be arrested themselves when police were called to the scene. “In a small number of cases, the victims themselves were arrested for offences such as breach of the peace or being drunk and disorderly, with no action taken against the perpetrators of rape and sexual assault against children.” The report revealed there has been only a ‘small number’ of successful prosecutions for offences against children.

Child abuse inquiry is a 'cover up', says detective who exposed grooming scandal

The police officer who exposed one of Britain’s worst grooming scandals has blasted the national child abuse inquiry as a “cover up”.

Maggie Oliver claims it is ignoring victims’ testimony in favour of reports from institutions – and refusing to look at evidence in grooming blackspots like Rotherham, Rochdale and Telford.

The ex-detective constable, who resigned from Greater Manchester Police over its treatment of victims in Rochdale, says two thirds of a statement she gave to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse was not used.

Huddersfield Grooming Gang Jailed After Girl Forced Into Sex with 300 Men by Age 15

A gang of six “vile and wicked” men who raped and sexually abused two girls as young as 13 have been jailed for a total of 55 and a half years today

Usman Ali, Banaras Hussain, Abdul Majid, Gul Riaz and three other defendants – who cannot be named for legal reasons – were found guilty of a total of 10 counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault.

The charges related to the exploitation of the two teenagers in the Huddersfield area between 1995 and 2007.

One of the girls estimated she had sex with up to 300 men by the time she was 15-years-old.

The trial, which came to an end on Tuesday, is the sixth to flow from the Operation Tendersea inquiry.[...]

Calls for Inquiry into Abuse of up to 1,000 Children in Telford [Amren]

A child-grooming scandal in Telford — in which up to 1,000 children are estimated to have been abused — has prompted calls for an inquiry.

The abuse is believed to have been carried out over a 40-year period.

An investigation by the Sunday Mirror gathered allegations of abuse in the Shropshire town. It is said to include cases involving girls as young as 11 who were drugged, beaten and raped.

They are reported to date back to the 1980s.

Many of the perpetrators are believed to have gone unpunished, with cases being mishandled by authorities. It is claimed similar abuse is continuing in the area.

Three murders and two deaths could also be linked to the scandal, the newspaper reported.

Sixteen-year-old Lucy Lowe became pregnant aged 14. She died alongside her mother and sister after the baby’s father set fire to her house.

He was jailed for murder, but not sex crimes.

Seven men were jailed in 2013 following Operation Chalice, a police inquiry into child prostitution in the Telford area.

The paper says authorities were warned of the abuse a decade before Operation Chalice.

Telford’s Conservative MP, Lucy Allan, has previously called for a Rotherham-style inquiry into the allegations and called the latest reports “extremely serious and shocking”.

Is it when Holly (played by the wonderful Molly Windsor) goes to the police seeking protection from Daddy (“Look, you’re my bitch now – if you cross me, I’ll kill you”) and the detective yawns extravagantly before pointing out that, if Holly had been raped, as she claims: “You don’t go back for more, do you?”

Is it when Holly and the other girls are driven to a flat where a group of Pakistani men gather round them, as if they were heifers at a cattle market, and they are told which man to service.

Is it when a social worker talks to Holly’s distraught parents about their daughter’s “lifestyle choice” and blithely informs them that the underage girl is working as a prostitute? Or how about that bit where the Rochdale police decide that, despite the industrial-scale sexual abuse in their town, they have “insufficient evidence” to prosecute Holly’s tormentors?

Any of the above is enough to make you scream and shout at the TV.

Just as Sara Rowbotham (Maxine Peake), a real-life Rochdale sexual health worker, ranted until she was hoarse at police and social workers, demanding they use their powers to stop the gangs. Three Girls politely (and unfairly) calls them “Asian gangs”, but these were Muslim men of Pakistani origin (bar one, who was from Afghanistan), often married with children, who regarded white working-class girls as easy meat, because they’re “hanging about on street corners with their chests hanging out”.

It’s not altogether surprising that men who hail from repressive, misogynist rural Pakistan would think schoolgirls from poor, unstable families who drank alcohol were “slags”. What is profoundly shocking, and unforgivable in the highest degree, is that British authorities shared that despicable attitude.

In the week that the foul fiend Ian Brady died, let’s ponder the fact that, as recently as 2010, girls from Rochdale were being taken up to Saddleworth Moor, where Brady and Myra Hindley buried their victims, to be gang-raped by taxi drivers and kebab-house waiters who pushed their victims out of the car after they were done with them and let them stagger home miles through the South Pennines.

What happened? For one thing, it’s not legal anymore. At one time, it was about legal for a White to rape a Black woman, and maybe for a Black man too. No one cared. Black female victims did not count.

The public outrage toward the illegal alien suspects accused of raping a 14-year-old freshman at Rockville High School has been “racist” and “xenophobic,” according to Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jack Smith.

Illegal aliens and Rockville High School student Sanchez Milian, 18, and Jose Montano, 17, allegedly forced the female victim into a bathroom stall on March 16 and “proceeded to raped her orally, vaginally, and anally,” Breitbart News reported.

Reaction to the alleged horror has been fierce. Maryland Republican Gov. Larry Hogan slammed immigration enforcement and Montgomery County Public Schools in an interview with WTTG-TV.

“Why is an 18-year-old man in a class with 13- or 14-year-old girls?” Hogan asked. “Why was his status not known to those folks? Why was he allowed to enter the country after he was picked up for illegally crossing the border — both of them?”

Montgomery County residents’ reaction was also harsh–and, according to Smith, racially motivated.

Luis Baez went to trial in late April for raping a woman while driving for Uber under a fake name. He was in the country illegally, had been deported previously, and had two other rape charges in the past. Rotherham’s Labour MP Sarah Champion describes it as a “national disaster” and is demanding a taskforce to fight the “horror.”

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mirror the shaken MP has told how she ‘nearly lost her mind’ after victims turned to her for help - unable to trust the police or local council.

She is currently getting an average of 10 victims a week coming to her for help.

Fighting back tears she told how she feared having a nervous breakdown worried about failing the “amazing women” and her horror after finding out a manual for grooming existed for paedophiles.

The MP was speaking after the Government announced they were taking over Rotherham Council for a “fresh start” and sending five commissioners to run the troubled authority.

Inspectors were called in after the Jay Report last August revealed the borough had let down 1,400 victims of child sexual exploitation.

“The day after the first report broke the victims started coming to me. They couldn’t go to the police, they couldn’t go to the council. So who do you go to?

“For the first three weeks I generally thought I was losing my mind. I nearly lost my mind because of the level of depravity and horror.

“There are hundreds of thousands and I think there could be up to a million victims of exploitation nationwide, including right now. Girls in the process of being groomed,” she said.

“I have met people from all over the country.
